I kept staring at my Notion page filled with unchecked boxes. "Learn programming." "Read more." "Exercise regularly."
Another month gone, another batch of vague promises broken.
It was past midnight when I finally admitted the truth: the problem wasn't me.
It was how I was setting these goals. What does "read more" even mean? More than what? The goals themselves were basically just wishes.
So I tried something different: read 10 pages today. That's it. Ten pages felt almost embarrassingly small.
And you know what? I actually did it. Then I did it again the next day. Logging those numbers became oddly satisfying.
